Since the Establishment of the Group of TELS Companies the board of directors claimed that the Company was not only responsible for the quality of the services but also for the effect of our activities on the Environment and society.

The working out of the Environmental Management System became the next step of development of the Management System of the Group of Companies. The Environmental Management System was based on principles of the Quality Management System in accordance with the standards ISO 9001-2000.

Road transport is considered to be one of the most essential pollutants of the Environment all over the World. 45% of all emissions into the atmosphere accounts for Road Transport. In megapolises that number runs up to 80%.

Creation and maintenance of the Environmental Management System in the Group of TELS Companies is one more proof that we take additional responsibility and strive for contributing into Environmental Protection and stable development.

The main goals of the Environmental Management of the Group of TELS Companies are:

  • Reduction of bad emissions into the atmosphere by means of:
  • Further development of the own park of trucks which corresponds to the modern requirements EURO — 4 and forwarding of the trucks which correspond to not less than EURO — 3 requirements.
  • Creation of risks estimation system and prevention of possible emergency conditions, which may occur during cargo transportation as well as dangerous cargo transportation.
  • Information sharing with our customers about the Environmental Management System and requirements we impose on our contractors.
  • Upgrading of environmental education of our employees.
