In the year 2007, in accordance with the principles of the Quality Management System which are to satisfy customers' demands and constantly improve services, a decision had been made to prepare and conduct SQAS procedure for the polish office of the Group of TELS Companies TELS Polska Sp. z o.o.

The following procedure is being used in the activity of European Chemical Industry Council in respect of transport and forwarding companies. The members of CEFIC are the major producers of chemical products.

The main principles of SQAS are — objectiveness, neutrality, transparency, quality and openness.

SQAS is:

  • Objective evaluation of the service provider, involved into the logistics chain, form the point of view of quality, safety and environmental protection.
  • Evaluation is given by the third party (independent expert) by means of questionnaire survey
  • Search of ways how to improve company's activity form the point of view of quality, safety, labour and environmental protection.
 
SQAS is one of the tools which is used by Chemical producers when they make a decision about the logistics service provider.
 
Evaluation SQAS will allow TELS Polska Sp. z.o.o. to take a important position in the market transportation services for chemical producers.
 
The result of the evaluation became a plan of activities for improvement of work of TELS Polska Sp.z.o.o. in the area of safety, labour protection as well as upgrading of the employees.
