In 2004-2005, with the help of external consultants, corporate training of the employees of the group of TELS companies was arranged with the purpose of their involvement into the process of development and introduction of quality management system.
26.08.2005 — the CEO 's order was issued to introduce QMS in the group of TELS companies and to start certification audit.
"System application area was explicitly described. The QMS documentation contains the procedures required by the standard and the documents necessary for the enterprise to carry out all the processes effectively and control them. The quality management system of the group of TELS companies complies with the requirements of GOST P. ISO 9001-2001 standard. The board considers possible to issue the certificate of conformity for the period of 3 years after elimination of the revealed incompliance questions".
On November 16, 2005 after confirmation of elimination of the incompliance questions the management the OOO "TEST — St. Petersburg" company made a decision to issue the group of TELS companies with the certificate of conformity with GOST P ISO 9001-2001 standard and the certificate of conformity with the IQNet system.
In December, 2006 inspection audit of quality management system was carried out in the Moscow subsidiary of the group of TELS companies — ZAO "T. E. L. S. — RUS". The board confirmed the compliance of quality management system with requirements of GOST P ISO 9001-2001 standard.
According to the 2006 year results of the national competition "The Freight Forwarder of the year — 2006" in Belarus the company IP "T. E. L. S. — BY" became a prize winner in category nomination "Creation of quality system of forwarding services". This competition was held by Belarusian Association of International Forwarders with official assistance of the Ministry of Transport and Communications, which once again proves a high level of service quality offered by our company.
In June 2007 the decision was made to establish the department of quality management. The department's functions include maintenance of quality management system functioning and its continuous improvement, as well as creation and introduction of other management systems based on international ISO standards.
