Platform car is used to deliver universal multi-tonnage containers (gross weight 20 and 40 t) in different combinations, wheeled and caterpillar machines, timber, concrete parts and other piece cargos that do not require any protection from atmospheric precipitation provided that cargos are located and secured according to "Technical Requirements of Cargo Shipment and Securing".
