The group of TELS companies' development is impossible without involvement of our carrier partners as the scale of cargo delivery gets bigger; the range of transported cargos changes; customer's requirements to transportation process quality increase; modern type vehicles are in high demand, which comply with higher operational and environmental standards. To solve all these tasks the group of TELS companies carries out a selection of carrier companies on a permanent basis.

To make this process successful, special criteria were developed to select carrier companies and the system was introduced to assess basic rating of all partners.
 
The calculation of basic rating and further rendering of a carrier company to this or that category is carried out on the basis of complex assessment of the following criteria:
 
  • carrier's responsibility insurance policy of transported cargo (according to CMR Convention);
  • number of vehicles in the car park;
  • different types of vehicles in the car park;
  • large-scale area of delivery coverage;
  • period of employment in the sphere;
  • age of a car park;
  • license of customs carrier;
  • admission to transportation of dangerous cargos;
  • a number of ECMT permits. 

Basic rating of all carrier companies is divided into 4 categories (max rating a carrier company can score is 75 points):
